Freddie Andersen is a great fantasy goalie, but I really like the guys that I'm picking up. I see Larkin continuing to get better this year, Vatanen should be the #1 PPQB in NJ and Elvenes and the 3rd help Detroit's future. I'm also happy to be shedding Nash's contract as I think he'll retire soon.

Goalies are GOLD in Backyard. Frederik Andersen was the 3rd highest scoring goalie and player last year in Backyard with 391.05 pts. Plus, Toronto is a stronger team this year. Larkin was the #39 Center and Vatanen was the #71 D-man. Their combined total was 231.65. Thats a difference of 159.4 pts. The cap savings of $3.3m equals, according to fantrax a P. Kane, Kuz type player. Even with a slight up-tick in production, the cap savings + a 5th rd. player + a 3rd rd. pick does not equal that type of return. I've offered more for a lesser goalie was was turned down flat. Starting goalies of this caliber are worth more than this IMO given their production. TC can weigh in on their opinion.

Have to agree, not enough for a starter. Would at least need a backup with upside in return to make this reasonable.

I don't count as an approval as I'm involved in the trade and ineligible to vote as a TC member. meaning that it 2 approvals and 3 vetoes right now. We need Anthony or Cliff to weigh in
