Title: Backyard Salary Cap
Post by: winter on March 03, 2020, 07:26:16 PM
A) Salary Cap
The salary cap for this league will mimic the NHL salary cap (it will be the same as the NHL's cap from year to year)

2019 Maximum Salary: $95,200,000
2019 Minimum Salary: $74,700,000
2020-21 Projected Cap: $80,300,000

Clifford, you changed this on  Last Edit: February 11, 2020, 10:40:14 PM by Thecliff

The Max salary for 19/20 for Backyard is $81.5,m
The Min salary for 19/20 for Backyard is $60.5m
A newer gm will look at this and figure that they are not roster compliant.
Veteran gm's know better, but curious as to why you changed this at over mid season?

Researched the NHL team salaries of 2019-20 with tops at $97m and the bottom team at $63m and added all salaries divided by teams and came to an average of $80.3m ea.

 Again I ask, why did you change this this in mid-season? Oh, I got you're PM, when I'm done laughing, I'll respond.

Ya we normally follow the actual NHL cap when they announce it. I believe that is one I posted is an announcement that it will be 81.5m.
