OPTION 1: FNHL PLAYOFFS PARALLEL LEAGUE 2020-21 (4wks)

So I've slotted the remaining weeks of the 2019-20 playoffs into mid-Feb for the moment. It's a parked placeholder.
Also asked Fantrax to gift us the 3.5 weeks we need to use that site to crown a winner, got an answer but the green kid didn't understand "gift" and told me to go set date with commish controls for 3.5wks. What a numbnut!!!!!!!!

Either way, it's parked until we know when the NHL will start the 2020-21 season.

I'm thinking PPG and PR should recruit Mordecai to the Executive Committee or something.

Mordecai's been on a roll with his recommendations all year. Mind you he might not accept given he hasn't ever officially participated on Trade Committee. Still, lots of heads up suggestions that have made plenty of sense for the betterment of FNHL.

But there's too much real world stuff on the go to be able to commit to the league management side of FNHL. I'm not the type to sign up and ditch when the going gets tough. If I do something, I own it 110%. With all due respect, I couldn't possibly deliver on a fraction of what PPG (and PR) do around here especially with the expansion draft next year and the moving target of the 2020-21 NHL season, I'm just trying to stay afloat.

Looks like we might get things going to continue last yr’s FNHL playoffs... but we need to review the schedule to ensure it’s relatively balanced and fair for the remaining 8 playoff teams. Stay tuned!

You guys (pigs/ppg) might already know this but there are warnings of keeping players in the minors longer than allowed in the playoff league. It says no points will be accumulated. Just an FYI

Gents, I've updated the 2019-20 playoff sites.

PR and I looked over the new NHL schedule and feel starting on February 4 allows for the NHL to get 2 wks of games in and allows FNHL to complete the 2019-20 Playoffs before we start the 2020-21 FNHL playoffs with a breather in between to focus of the 2020-21 regular season.

* Rosters were copied & frozen from the 2019-20 league site.
* Expanding to 3 IR spots given COVID, retirees, unsigned FAs in limbo or players who've opted out of play.
* Teams are allowed maximum 2 free player DROPS from their roster if needed.
* MiLR players have games played limits removed for these playoffs.
