We're sending 2 kids and an old guy to Buffalo to get Dustin into a Chicago jersey and adding a couple of players for some solid depth. The main players here, Brown 32yo & Zibanejad 23yo each serve their purpose in this deal - for Buffalo bringing in youth and potential & adding veteran production to my Hawks.

Sabres agree to this trade. We have been looking to move Brown because he's not a guy we want to build around and has one of those big cap hits for a player in his 30s that you don't want around too long on team rebuilding part of its roster. Zib will do well for us this year and next. At 23, he's only starting to come into his own with the NHL
's Rangers. Thx PPG!

Interesting part is he just moved Benn, and got a very similiar player back in Brown. Yeah, I know the age difference, I am talking about style. Another big hitter. Guys who can hit big and score are golden in this setup.

I think this is even given Brown is having a good run right now while Zibanejab is cooling off for a spell. The age and cap difference all lead me to conclude this is a draw.
