What do you guys think about this? I've waited years for the Red Wings to be the home team in the Winter Classic, granted I could have made the trip to Chicago if I would have had the time/money. Living minutes away from the Big House in Ann Arbor, the lockout dashed my plans for this year's Winter Classic. Things happen, at least I'll hopefully get to experience it year.

But now, there are likely to be multiple outdoor games next season. Will it make the Winter Classic less memorable? No. Less Special? Unfortunately yes.

I love the idea of the Winter Classic, and I also support the Heritage Classic because Canada deserves it. But unless the NHL is giving every team the opportunity to play outdoors each season, I don't know how I feel about these multiple games.
