Franchise GM: Invalid Transactions / Angels Plan« on: April 09, 2011, 03:25:45 PM »
I do have a plan for the Angels.
1.Cut salary down as best as i can. 2.Trade all the pitching that has been acquired by previous owners (have no clue why) and get what good players i can,but if no one on other teams wants to trade me for them well not much i can do about that. 3. There are a few dead salaries right now so these players need to be dropped. 4.Acquire some young talent to make club strong in coming years but not so much as to take away from being cellar dwellers for years to wait till talent matures. I can only work with people that can and will work with me to obtain the talent i need to compete. They have to want some of the pitchers i have and a couple of bats i have to trade and try to get better. The only other way is to build thru FA and that can be a slow process. I will tell you i am a firm believer that it takes to many years sometimes to wait for talent to be big league ready and you do not get points accumulated for that in fantasy sports, you win by fielding good players and acquiring talent that can be major league ready.Sometimes prospects work out and sometimes they don't so i do not like to gamble with that. In other words if i have a major league player that accumulates points for my team and i trade him, don't offer me a couple of unknowns that may accumulate points in the future, give me a player that gets points now even if that player is 30 years old and in the twilight of his career,he stills gets points. Since somebody else did this to the club it is not my fault as myself as an owner would have never done this. it can not be done over night.I will not tear it down the rest of the way and get possible young players that may or may not make it to the show. I will take what other owners offer me for my pitching and decide if it's worth it or not. That's about all i can do. Everyone knows i'm active and have never gave up one team since i joined here.I love all my teams no matter what, and i will take care of the team the best i can. Dave tarheels55 Also, there is nothing i can do about Sabathia and Santana's salaries as the jerks that bought these or traded for these are insane. 45 MILLION PER YEAR WOW.Santana i hope will be back this year. This is all i have to say about it,thank you 1033

Hey Guys
I'm the owner of the Angels and i have my work cut out for me.I am willing to listen to all offers for the excess pitchers i have and will trade any bats or what little i have to get players i can use.I would trade some players for young prospects but just certain ones. If you send me a trade i will always reply and tell you what i think about it or if i am interested but i would like to field a team and the excess pitching i have should bring me some decent players.I just want to be competitive and try to build my team. Thanks Guys for letting me be a part of this league, and if you can help me out with any excess bats i would appreciate it i have some good pitching to offer.I'm in it to win it just like you Dave Angels 1034
