RFA Bidders when you bid low you are most likely just saving the original team money.
The Wild are absolutely going to match the 4 year $4.8m contract for Kaprizov? That just saves them $3m a year for the next 4 years from what a resign would cost.
If you think your bid is a steal, so does the team that owns the player's rights.
