Figured I would post what might happen in RL expansion draft for Seattle.
As a :CAR-NHL: fan, this is who I think would be available for them:
Forwards: Fast, Neiderreter, Martinook, Geekie
Defense: Skjei, Fleury, Gardiner
Goalie: Reimer
Protected Players:
Staal (NMC)
Teravainen
Aho
Svechnikov
Trocheck
Dzingel
Foegel
Slavin
Hamilton
Pesce
Mrazek
Automatically Protected: Bean, Necas,
I am thinking if they're looking long term Fluery would be the best overall of contract/future. Skjei would be second. I am hoping we throw a prospect for them to take Gardiner.
I'd say most teams are seeing what happens with players this year to factor in who is exposed. Like Geekie/Fast may be protected instead of someone like Dzingel.

I'd think Neiderreter would be the better option off the Canes roster. Cool post Jonathan!
I'll have to see what the Bruins are going to do.

:iatp: nice post. Canes have a good team and can afford to give up a decent player without negatively impacting their lineup.

I modified it to show who would be protected. I imagine Dzingel/Foegel could be switched out, depending on how things play out this year. Staal would have to waive him NMC to become available.
