Franchise NHL / Re: FNHL Free Agency: Weak 2019 FA Class!« on: August 11, 2019, 01:18:29 PM »ummmmmm..........that’s not realistic. Take the NHL Blackhawks. D Brent Seabrook is at 7.5 million per. If his contract were up do you think the Hawks would resign him at that same value? No plus he would be untradeable. Why should a FNHL owner be punished for the players lack of production? If you manage your team the right way money rarely gets in the way unless you hit on all your draft picks and overpay in FA. I put a lot of time in my teams, I wouldn’t be interested in wasting that time. Sounds like sour milk to me just sayin. 56

I would like to see a rule on extensions that you can’t extend a player at less money than they are currently under contract for regardless of performance. If the player is no longer worth that contract let the fa market determine what he’s worth. Just a thought.

Franchise NHL / Re: FNHL Skater Extensions likely to go north in 2020-21« on: August 09, 2019, 09:34:10 PM »
It looks like the salary cap is 15% higher today than it was in the 11-12 season. I would be in favor of just adding 15% to all extension values to bring things back in line to when the league started.

Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Re: Blues-Hurricanes Trade« on: August 08, 2019, 03:12:32 PM »I still approve this deal. Saying Nico was 1st is like so what, weak draft class. Ducks owner isnt a friend but I felt the Halo and AntMan tag team didnt sound right. I know End Game isn't your friend because a friend wouldn't let another friend do a deal like that You have every right to veto if you feel something is crazy lopsided or doesn't make sense. I heard about Antman's rant and I took a close look at those deals. I don't want to fight or argue about it. We will agree to disagree. If PR and PPG say good deal that's good enough for me. |
