Important Dates for all GMs in Franchise GM (All deadlines are at midnight ET, unless otherwise noted):

10/17/2022 - Extensions on

ALL contracts due

10/18/2022 (12:01A)- Off-season begins.

• Unsigned Players Become FA (Includes (P-2022) Players)
• Cap Hits Raised From 75/50/25 Percent to 90/60/30 Percent
• MLB contract extensions count toward 2023 and beyond[/i]
• Re-Sign Values for Contract Extensions Updated[/i]
• League Sheet (ProFSL Rosters) rolled over to 2023[/i]

11/1/2022 - FYPD starts at 9:00 am ET

12/26/2022 - Extensions on P-contracts due

Free Agency Bidding Windows (each window opens at 9:00 am ET)

• 1/03/23 - FA opens up for CI
• 1/17/23 - FA opens up for P
• 1/31/23 - FA opens up for OF
• 2/14/23 - FA opens up for MI
• 2/28/23 - FA opens up for C

3/30/23 - OPENING DAY

7/31/2023 - Trade Deadline (3 pm ET / 12pm PT) - Both Teams/GMs must have trade rationales posted by deadline to be valid.
8/1/2023 - Cap Hits Lowered from 90/60/30 Percent to 75/50/25 Percent

8/14/2023 - Free Agency Ends at 12 PM EST (no more opening of bids)
8/14/2023 - Last week of the Regular Season

8/21/2023 - Playoffs Begin

• 8/21/2023 - Wild Card
• 8/28/2023 - ALDS/NLDS
• 9/4/2023 - ALCS/NLCS
• 9/11/2023 - 9/24/2023 - FGM World Series (Two Week Matchup)

9/24/2023 - 10/1/2023 - League wide Review of Rosters

10/9/2023 (12:01A ET)- Off-season begins.

Just a note about the calendar...

There may be some slight differences with deadlines compared to previous years.  Due to personal religious beliefs, I focus on my faith and family on Sundays and do not get on the site.  As a result, any deadlines that would normally fall on Sunday, I generally move to Monday, this would include the draft, free agency and the trade deadline.  I feel it's best at those times to be available for anything that may come up.

The one deadline I have not applied this to, starting next year, is the end of year roster moves and extensions.  There's an entire week after the World Series ends and I do not like holding up the off season for any reason.  So this one stands on Sunday at midnight.
