2013-14 Prize & Entry Fee
« on: September 08, 2013, 11:53:17 AM »
Here's a breakdown of 2013-14 Franchise NHL fees and the Prize.

STANLEY CUP CHAMPION PRIZE POOL
Minimum $75USD Franchise NHL Stanley Cup Champion payout (will be higher if Fantrax + base prize pool expense are covered).

For a current team to qualify for the prize, they must have paid a team fee by October 31, 2013 at 23h59 ET. The team fee for returning owners is voluntary but entitles them to claim the prize if/when they win the FNHL Stanley Cup.

The fees have been established to ensure dedicated owners are both committed to building a strong, competitive, exciting, challenging league and avoid transient/in 'n' out ownership.

All owners who join or those invited to FNHL are here to compete and demonstrate they have what it takes to win!

Reminder to returning teams, although it's not mandatory for the 2013-14 FNHL season, if a team wants to claim the prize, they would have to pay their team's entry fee before Oct 31 23h59 E.S.T.

Trying to pay after the deadline just means you're out of the money race for 2013-14. Let's see who really believes in their team.  :win: :toast:

P.S. I repeat, for 2013-14 it's voluntary for returning Owners.

Pigs, there are two deadlines for buying into the prize pool. Sept 30 and Oct 31.
Which is it? I'm guessing October 31st.

9 teams qualify for the 75$ Championship prize.

FYI... Starting 2014-15 all retuning teams will be required to a 5$ fantrax fee. This yr it's a transition yr and new teams must pay to play while returning teams who've been around can voluntarily pay to also have a chance to win the grand prize.

  • dbreer23: Take two to tango, though. Most owners with adequate or surplus SP aren't interested in prospects as they're trying to win now.

  • Daddy: Also agreed. Top quality pitching probably means not much depth. A few injuries can challenge you. Pitching other than top end pitching has been devalued in fantasy. Everyone wants the stud.

  • Brent: He had that view b/c of his father who was a blackjack dealer in Vegas.
    May 05, 2024, 04:35:28 PM
  • Daddy: Yes @Brent!! That is it exactly. Pitching is the house & it always wins in the end.

  • Braves155: With regard to pitching in the Minors...there is  method to the madness. It is all about what you make of it tho. I agree that it can seem certain type arms in the minors are a dime a dozen
