The Salary Cap page in the FNHL Rules section has been updated to reflect these official 2014-15 cap figures.

69m is pretty much what we all expected. No surprise there.
The floor got a stupidly big bump up to 51m. Looking forward to free agency and seeing how the teams with bags of cash kicking around spend it.
-
An extra 5 million to spend ain't bad.

Sounds like roughly 25% of teams in the NHL will have to cut salary somehow to meet that new 69m cap figure.
There were a few big buyouts over draft weekend.
In this FH league, I've seen teams trimming salary after the season. Seems our owners/GMs are more on the ball than the old guys in the real league. :toast:

Responsible ownership is what makes this league work. Guys who manage their payroll. Never could understand the cowboy owners who screw up their budget then run off. :soapbox: The good news is we have ways of cleaning up bad contracts around here.
