Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / TRADE Colorado and San Jose
« on: September 06, 2014, 05:39:17 PM »
TO AVS
LW Carl Hagelin, $3.7m (2014-2017)

For

TO SHARKS
C Henrik Sedin, $5.5m (2013-2017)
Round 4 - 2014 :COL-NHL:

Sharks make this deal in the hopes that a vet like Sedin can have a bounce back season. Seems I'm adding a bunch of old guys. Lol

We were offered Henrik but felt we wanted the pick to make it worthwhile otherwise keeping a high scoring LW like Hagelin who's been outscoring Henrik since he entered the league and is cheaper at a tough position to replace this yr would've been just fine with my Sharks. The pick was also to bridge the age difference 34yrs vs 26yrs.

Avs to confirm. Good trade talks Slack! :toast:

Sharks alsowant to B/O Larsen because he's signed to play in the KHL next yr.
