Discussion: Fantrax 2-Way Players

The discussion here is should we have access to 2 way players on fantrax? This being that we can freely use/call up players to majors when needed instead of a transaction on the board.

I am open for discussion on this but from an administrative side, it could be a nightmare. I will discuss more in a reply.

I support all minors being available on Fantrax.  Both 2-way and 1-way.  It's not a nightmare in my league.

I agree, works well in DNHL. Just important to make sure the cap space is there and that it's actually posted on the boards. Put the onus on the GM and have stiff penalties for anyone abusing the situation to sneak players in (not saying they would but need to discourage it)

I am in favor of access to 2 way players (with a notification in profsl). I think that we can trust GMs to do their moves accordingly to rules. I am sure that each GM will check his opponent to make sure that the move is legal (WITH A NOTIFICATION to PROFSL FIRST. The advantage is that we don't have to wait too long to promote the player. This move if done will be at least for a minimum of one week to avoid the GM to back and forth the player depending of who his playing every night.

We should really have access to Minor players. I am waiting since Oct 18 for Skjei to be moving up.

Another good reason is that it will be less work for the moderator if we are able to do the move ourself and speed up the process
