After a whole lot of bugging by the King's owner since I've been in the league, I agree to transfer and exchange franchises with Sir Dickie Dunn of the LA Kings.
Fantasy is about getting a chance to run your fav team and I got mine in Philly so it seems fitting that the Hawks go to DD.
We talked a lot about value of the two franchises and feel that an Original 6 team with contending lineup was equal to an LA roster that's won the a couple of championships not to mention LA was the one making the request.
I put this transfer before the owners of FNHL and ask that if you feel this transaction in anyway is unfair or detrimental to the league, we willingly void this move. So if this smells funky to you, just tell us. We're all adults. :toast:
-
I don't see any issue with it.
-
Don't see anything wrong with you transferring clubs between one another and in last year end of regular season they were next to each other.
Plus Dickie finally gets his dream of controlling Chicago and PPG gets less :bla: of dickie about Chicago and more peace and quite, until we start trading like mad men again.
-
Wait, so are you exactly exchanging teams/players or are you just trading names?
I don't see the teams as equal in assets, but you both own your teams and I think you should be free to swap if you want. Though I find it much simpler and less complicated to just trade team names and divisions.

No issues at all with the Blues!

:Trade: eh?

I'm cool with it. :toth:

PPG just likes to compete against me.

PPG and I discussed a swap of the nicknames versus swapping out owners. In the end, it was easier to leave the teams intact as they have links to their actual NHL counterparts especially Los Angeles.
The opportunity to assume control of a different team was intriguing from the standpoint of it presenting itself as a fantasy challenge.
Finally, I believe the Central Division is the new Atlantic Division, the most challenging and potent division in Franchise NHL, the toughest fantasy league I have had the pleasure of participating in.

You and Blkhwkfn!

Totally fine by me, and really understand PPG's urge to run away from east to west  :toast:

:iatp: I think this was the better way to handle this. In the past FNHL allowed owners to transfers to different teams within the league. In this case it's two veteran owners transferring to other teams for personal interest.
DD likes Chicago and Hawks are the 1st team PPG took ownership of in FNHL back in 2012 so I understand if they want a change of scenery.
This benefits the league with renewed interest infused in 2 different teams while we keep strong ownership for both teams and there will likely be transactions coming soon to disperse & acquire assets.
And so PPG is running away from the ultra competitive Central Division, cant blame him :rofl::rofl:
-
:iatp: Fine by me.
-
I don't see why not. Especially if the transfer injects some renewed enthusiasm for both owners it's a win-win for everyone. :iatp:
-
:soapbox: You guys in Central can kiss my hairy butt!:rofl:

Thanks everyone.
Let's make it official then.

I have a HUGE issue with this, DD isn't even in the same state as the Blackhawks! I go to Hawks games at the UC. I have been to training camps. I even went to this years draft at the UC. SO IN NO Way do i actually have an issue with the transfer. i know DD is as big a Blackhawks fan as I am. Good Luck DD you will do great! Kings are in good hands as well with PPG at the wheel.

Arm wrestle DD!
I'm happy for DD landing the Hawks. I'm actually surprised DD waited it out this long.
