wild agree  we make this trade to get a player i like alot and move a goalie i wasnt to high  on.

Wild had planned on buying him out, but I was willing to take on the contract. I have no actual NHL goalies, so Matt adds to my stash and hoping someone gets a chance. I add a 4th rounder to make up for the cap I am taking on. Interestingly, Its my own pick and a true long shot in this mediocre draft.

Don't be fooled. I am helping Minny out here. This G is 4th or 5th best G in Nashville and they have the best G in Rinne already. True longshot. Minor league depth in real life, right now.

So true man. I think PR did a great job making FNHL Goalies more accessible by increasing their retention cost. Means teams can't hold onto too many Tier 1 backstops and need to move one when they're due for a big pay raise. Been seeing lots of goalie movement over the past yr. Good times in FNHL!
