SJ Trades:
Oliver Ekman-Larsson, $7.0m (2016-2020)
Tomas Hertl, $4.2m (2016-2020-FP-5.5 :SJ:)

Car Trades:
Brayden McNabb, $3.0m (2016-2019)
G - Malcolm Subban (2012: 1/24 - 2 Game)  GP updated Dec4, 2016
Round 2 - 2017  (from :CLG:*; originally :BUF-NHL3:)

Carolina is looking to be a little more competitive next season and SJ is looking to dump salary and build for the future so this is what we came up with.

If Subban lives up to the hype and Hertl and Eckman-Larrsson continue to struggle this trade could look really bad in a year considering the salary we are taking on. Both guys have huge upside though so it's a risk worth taking imo.

sharks agree i add some young tallent in a future goalie in subban and add a defensive player in mcnabb i can help build my defense around. plus i add a second rd pick to help rebuild my farm with
