Not really watching baseball, that would put me to sleep. Watching hockey as a fan, but seems like my team is on the out again. Hoping we land Landeskog, much like my Capitals here. Could put him next to fellow Swede Victor Rask and form a nice duo for sure. Willing to give Justin Faulk to make it happen, as that is where we have depth and clearly a must have for Colorado. Probably just dreaming, but we made it a reality in FNHL!

I will vote help.  so far davey has been moved to edmonton which i see as a plus.  He wasnt been used very well in Montreal , could be a flat line but he can only go up from where he has been.

Sheehan and Lazar are my other 2 names that have been floating in trade rumours.  Not sure if their stock rises or falls with a trade.  the wings suck this year so I see an possible up for sheehan.

The other would be Matt Murray,  Fleury getting moved will ensure a lock at starter for him and heavy workload so I see that as a good thing.   Overall I think trade deadline helps.

Deadline helped my team.

Andreas Martinsen went from Avs to Habs.
Stalberg moved to contender.
Pateryn gets more ice time in Dallas
Carey Price gets a bunch of new teammates that hit and hurt ppl in front of him.
:FLO: Cats are happy!

Calgary is already hitting the links in sunny Texas. The NHL Trade deadline wasn't going to help nor hurt our organization. Next year will be a whole different story.

Vancouver hardly affected, Brandon Davidson goes to Montreal from Edmonton, now just have to see who Vegas pick from Montreal in the Expansion Draft.

For the (http://profsl.com/smf/Smileys/default/PIT-NHL.png) ... no real help

- Oduya's +/- should improve with the Hawks ... whoop-dee-doo
- Dwight King moved from the Kings (who can't score in a whore house) to the Canadiens (who can't score in a brothel) ... so push
- Fleury wasn't moved, so we saved that cap space for nothing, and our playoff run is now solely on the shoulders of Thomas Greiss.  Well, and that Crosby guy ...

For the (http://profsl.com/smf/Smileys/default/DAL-NHL2.png) ... it's all irrelevant now that Crawford is backing up Darling, so we have no starting goalie, but we do have fewer green flags on the roster at the moment, so there's that

- Should see an uptick in GP and minutes for guys like Gaunce, Murphy, McKenzie
- But less GP and minutes for guys like Graovac and McCarron
- Not sure why Arizona won't at least give Pulkkinen a look
- Was hoping the Canucks would move Virtanen to a team that would give him a look
