This is what the 2017 FNHL Playoff matchups would look like if the playoffs started today instead of 2wks from now.
EAST

WEST
(1Cen) :NAS: vs (WC2) :DAL-NHL:
(2Cen):CHI-NHL: vs (3Cen) :STL-NHL:
(2Pac) :EDM: vs (3Pac) :PHO:
(1Pac) :LAK: vs (WC1) :COL-NHL:
FNHL Standings Tie-breakers:
1. Best division record for entire season
2. Head-to-head record vs. team(s) tied with
3. Most fantasy points for entire season (skaters and goalie combined, not actual NHL points but fantasy points based on FNHL setup "Full Fantasy Team" stats)
* No re-seeding after each round.
* Franchise NHL Finals lasts for 2 weeks.

Neck and neck since the Holidays. Really evenly matched.

Hottest team in Isls vs what should or could be the BIGGEST resurrection if Stamkos rejoins Bolts roster for the playoffs.
(2Cen):CHI-NHL: vs (3Cen) :STL-NHL:
Blues hitting hot streak with 4 goalies in tow (Dubnyk, Smith, Hutton & Kuemper :o) and Hawks been strong all yr.

Avs would get to face the 2time defending FNHL champ with what many see as a killer roster with too many goalies for their own good with Lundqvist, Mason & Schneider. Boom!

For the :NAS: Preds it'll be :DAL-NHL: if we finish 1st in Central or the pick between :CHI-NHL:, :STL-NHL: or :COL-NHL: if the Avs can continue their climb in the final 2wks.

My Hawks will be lining up against :DAL-NHL: Stars if I can knock your Preds out of 1st.
Otherwise we're looking at either the Blues or Avs. And those Colorado Avalanche have been on fire lately and they're currently 4 back of :STL-NHL: Blues. :o Close race in Central. :toast:

Eastern Wildcard is undecided but looks very much like it'll be TB & TOR in those spots with the Sabres looking in.
After that, it's a matter of which teams take their Division in the Atlantic & Metro to face the WC teams.
Seems like it'll boil down to results of the final wk.

8 games to be decided = 16 total points to secure.
I'm most interested by Central Division. There lots of possibilities over there guven how strong all the tram are... standings in Central might look very different even at the end of this wk.

I think FNHL's Metropolitan Division will be the most interesting to follow as we head into the playoffs.
The Division lead has changed several times during the season and all 3 playoff bound teams appear to have gotten stronger over the year.
