Title: Ottawa's trade with Nashville

Looking to make a move and spoke to Nashville several times throughout the day. Finally nailed down our needs. Not every day you get offered a Jordan Eberle. Not cheap landing the talented winger but we felt we could replace a Center more easily. Overall a good package for our future. Preds to confirm. Cheers!

:thumbsup::thumbsup::iatp: I like Kadri's style and he's a player I've wanted for sometime. Jordan was someone we could deal given the other RWs we have on the roster. Connauton might do well down the stretch so that's a low risk move for us. Glad we got this done EndGame. :toast:

Any time you can distill the value of one contract into several more beneficial contracts it is a victory. With Ottawa trading Kadri they do improve their roster by acquiring several more useful players cumulatively in Eberle, Nielsen and Merrill.
