Washington Confirms


I was offered this earlier and accepted, but BB has not been back since. I posted it as I am about to go to bed (Got to Work   :P)

I do this trade to add a young defensmen I like. I move a young forward, who I was very high on and expect to do just fine. I've sent out notices to move him in the past, but I was only doing it for a top prospect. I move him here for a 22 yr old defensemen I like a lot as a Carolina fan. Interestingly enough, both of these guys were not drafted here  :o , which speaks to the depth of the drafts in this league. Vatrano wasn't even drafted in real life, which probably says more and Slavin as a steal of a 4th round pick. Best part: Both are protected in the expansion draft by default. Good Luck BB in the playoffs and thanks for a personal favorite.

  :thumbsup::thumbsup::iatp: Preds confirm this trade with the Caps. Adding another pick was the goal along with young guy who could help up front. Like Slavin a lot but Vatrano seems to be earning his ice time under a new coach in Boston and that could be great for our playoff run. Thanks Jonathan.

This trade allowed me to then move OEL. Gonna take more than 1 guy to replace him, but this is at least a start.

Slavin is a very unrated player. At only 22 years old, he already commands Top 4 minutes. Great trade and a Win to Jonathan for acquiring a young useful player from an NHL team he enjoys following.
