Washington Approves

Hard deal to make. I feel like I lose now, but drastic changes were needed with our first non-playoff season here. OEL is a beast and only 25. I hate to move a D that good and young, but Landeskog is also very good and young. I'm hoping this works out for me long term, but I at least have another deal to add some D to lessen the blow there. Byron was tough to trade also, he has C, LW and RW eligibility. Hopefully 2017-18 is a better year in the capital, but I feel we have 6 studs at forward going forward: Ovechkin, Barkov, Granlund, Backstrom, Toffoli and now Landeskog. Also, add Max Jones, Alex Nylander, Kyle Connor and now Boeser as potential studs in the minors. Kylington is a personal favorite and I also was pleasantly surprised with some good picks from last year in Fox and Candella. D is certainly and issue going forward with only Beaulieu and Suter as NHL relevant guys, but we have a ton of picks to address that and the draft has players of interest there.

Fntxd but to complete this on the team pages, SJ needs to clear 0.1m in cap space.
