A Supplemental Draft in FNHL would start in Summer 2018 if there is a desire for this.
* Which Players Qualify?
Free agents that meet the MiLR eligibility rules would qualify, even players that have previously signed as Free agents and bought out or had their contract expire.
* Excluded...
1st time NHL Entry draft eligible players.
* When would we hold the Supplemental Draft Annually?
After FNHL Playoffs before the league takes a 3mth break. College Free agents are signed. There's hype of up coming NHL Entry Draft, a way to wrap up FNHL season.

I've voted. :toast:

:iatp: This will be a cool draft to create.

I also believe this is a great idea.
I voted for 2 Supplemental Draft Picks annually as a starting point for this type of Draft. My reason being starting with 2 Supplemental Draft Picks provides a relevant sample size of the impact of this type of draft for future reference while making it interesting enough for immediate use relative to time spent on researching prospects available.
Hope you're all enjoying the Holidays.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::iatp: I agree with Dtox.

Personally felt it was best to start this with 1 Suppl. Draft pk per team then increase to 2 picks the second yr we use Supplemental picks.
We also need to determine order of draft. Not sure it should be setup like the Entry Draft.

A suggestion would be to reward the Top non-winning Playoff teams with the top picks followed by the Non-playoff teams. The league champion can be sandwiched in the middle.

Reward plaoff teams with higher pks.
Two Sppl.draft pks is a great wy to reward the owners who do their scouting homework.
-
:thumbsup::thumbsup::iatp: Agree with JD. :thumbsup:
2 Supplemental Draft picks is a good reward for high achieving teams that perform in the post-season.

Very much looking forward to the Supplemental Draft. I know it's still a ways off but the potential is exciting.

This closes in another 11 days. Vote if you haven't already.

This looks like a slam dunk at this point.
So can Fantrax handle a second draft?

This is a new rule in FNHL starting in 2017-18.
I'll ask PR to review the votes to make sure the vote is what it looks like, that we'll all get 2 Supplemental Draft Picks in April 2018 after the playoffs wrap up! :toast::judge:

Results for this rule vote are
3 - Leave as is No Supplemental Draft
3 - 1 pick for a Supplemental Draft
