The RC has ruled that the salaries for your 2009 draft picks can be amended with the new entry draft contract rules...
Bonuses for the top five (ranking, not drafted)
1 - 7.0M
2 - 6.0M
3 - 5.0M
4 - 4.0M
5 - 3.5M
Salaries for top five draft picks in 2009
1 - $5m
2 - $4m
3 - $3m
4 - $2m
5 - $1m
The five teams with these players are given the chance to modify the player's salary to a standard prospect contract and pay an offset amount as a bonus for 2010.
The 2010 bonuses would be equal to ED-TOP5-BONUS - 2009 Salary + $500k, making the bonuses in 2010...
