Blockbuster trade today in the NHL.

Smart move for Montreal.
1 less distraction from the media loving Subban.
Montreal pays less real salary over the next 5 years.
Montreal takes smaller cap hit Weber $7.85 vs Subban $9m
Weber is older by 4yrs
Weber is feared by everyone.
Subban is more annoying than anything else.

Guys don't understand Weber's contract was front loaded. Classic Philly offer sheet move.
Weber's real salary over the next 10 years ranges from $1m - $6m.

Smart business and hockey move by the Habs landing a leader like Weber.

I like this trade for both teams better than the Hall trade.

Not sure Nashville is the greatest market for PK's personality but I'm sure he'll make it work.

Preds are building an offensive juggernaut and Subban is a great piece to add.
