Title: WAR Prospects & Minor League Eligibilty
Post by: Daddy on May 31, 2019, 07:48:50 PM
In WAR any player may be placed in the minors at any time, as long as they fall under the requirements.

*A hitter must have no more than 300 AB'S or 81 game appearances.

*A pitcher may have no more than 20 starts, 41 game appearances, or 150 innings, whichever comes first.

A player that is over these limits is not eligible for the Minors.

*A player must be on a P-20XX contract to be eligible.

Prospects (Any player meeting requirements) may only be placed on prospect contracts. Only a standard bid of PC or PC+bonus pool money is allowed. No player who has not made his MLB Debut can be placed on an MLB contract.

International Players (I.E. Shohei Ohtani types) are still considered prospects in WAR.
The maximum bid on any prospect is PC+$10m the first GM to post this bid is awarded the player with no waiting period (24 or 48 hour bid period)

Prospect bids (unlike MLB bids) will be won after 24 hours.
Regular MLB contract bids are 48 hours of highest bid to be awarded.

Once a team has exhausted its bonus pool money it may only bid PC on any prospect until bonus pool money resets April 1st of the following year.
