This has been allowed in previous years if they player you want hasnt been selected yet.
Quote from: Dan Wood on Yesterday at 12:05:37 AMI also believe I can change my pick as long as the player has not been taken (little fuzzy on the rules)... If I'm correct in this, The White Sox would like - 14 Bradley Zimmer OF San Francisco Calif. 3Not looking to stir anything up, but I think active participation in a draft is a must if you want to avoid having someone give you a player as an auto-pick. A few years ago, when I was in a similar situation, I was given an auto-pick and told that since I missed the deadline, and another pick had been made, that was my pick--even though the player I wanted had not been picked yet. It was frustrating because I was subscribed to the thread, yet I did not receive a notification from the board that a pick had been made and that I was up. Not sure why, but it was really nobody's fault but my own for not checking in to see if I was up in the draft. This year, I received a PM that I was OTC, so it appears a concerted effort is being made to avoid the aforementioned dilemma. If we can "make-up picks" at our leisure, then there is no reason for the auto-pick--and without the auto-pick, the draft will become a mess.
