2021 Check-In

Given the world affairs as you know decisions was no 2020 shortened season for our league, but I very much want to see league continue and flourish long term.

Please vote and/or comment so we know who is still here. I would appreciate if you are no longer interested in staying to also let us know (though I suspect at least a few teams might no longer be on site at all).

I have zero intention to replace anyone for the foresable future so there is ample time to check in.

Note: If you have not checked in and have draft picks remaining we will simply autopick once the current rookie draft resumes (firm date coming via PM) I do not want it to stall so we can move on to this year's draft and all other activities in preparation for 2021 season.

We have some issues with Fantrax requesting payment, but makes no sense given we do not have a season running this year. Trying to figure out best way to resolve it.

I've reset the poll, we are looking to see all the owners who are ready for the 2021 season before we start recruiting new owners.

I am still interested in going forward.  However, I don't know how viable continuing this league is if we have to recruit/replace over half the league.  My thought would be that it MAY be easier to start new  assuming we have to try and get 15+ people to take over various teams.  Some of these are in BAD shape (Dodgers included). I took over a trash team and then we never played 1 game -- we never even finished the draft. This was admittedly disappointing given EVERY other league I am in played. This was my first year in this league.  With the over all lack of communication and participation from a good portion of the members, I was underwhelmed to say the least.

All valid points. The point of this poll is determine the status of our owners. Last check in we were only 4 owners short of having all 30. So I'm not sure that we are in as bad shape as someone assume. As for starting a new league that can be discussed further if need be, I am not personally opposed but its a big step. Someone attempted to start a new dynasty league 2 years ago and it never got off the ground so I'm weary of going that direction.
