Clearly Tyler is pretty good at this fantasy GM stuff, but now I know why. It is because he is a witch. Here is the proof:
Last week Fleury hops in for the pulled Murray and goes 28 for 28 in saves. That would normally mean he would start the next game, but he suddenly becomes sick and can't start giving the crease back to Murray. Witchery!
Kyle Turris breaks his finger at the beginning of the week which means Jean Gabriel-Pageau plays on the next line up with better players and has scored 3 goals and 4 points the last 3 games where he had scored 6 goals in the previous 63 games. Witchery!
Tyler, in a nutshell, trades me John Gibson for Rask, Krug, and Aho earlier in the year. John Gibson gets injured just before this week with a mysterious ailment. Looks like he will be healthy enough to start right after this week. Witchery!
You would think that would be all. That would be enough to prove it, but the last piece is that he just so happens to have the backup, Bernier, who has gotten 20 points so far. Thus taking points away from me and getting them for himself. Double Witchery!
I think it is time to see if he weighs the same as a duck. Sadly even if you took away all the witchery I'd still be down by 30+ points. Well done and good luck in the next rounds.
