Milwaukee receives:

SP Gabriel Hughes (prospect)


San Francisco receives:

OF Luis Matos P-NA
OF Yasser Mercedes (prospect)


The deal was Hughes for Matos. I'm at the 40 man MLB limit and 20 man MILB limit so Mercedes was a drop and San Francisco agreed to take him as part of the deal. Cool prospect (Mercedes) but decisions gotta be made yknow?
If you like Hughes like I do this is the time to buy. Cost a young OF but I have a really good OF, 2 prospects I really like (Yanquiel Fernandez and Victor Scott lll) ) on the way (hopefully) and FA approaching. My prospect pitching is a little light and this trade addresses that.

Giants agree, and jump at the chance to add Willie Mays Hayes...oh, I mean Luis Matos to the team's young core. He was a top 100 prospect before he was promoted, and is the type of fast, toolsy player I love. It's hard to part with Hughes, but wiith the addition of an extra prospect in Mercedes, this was the kind of return that is hard to pass up. Thanks for the fantastic talks, and good luck!
