Title: Bucks and Nuggets Trade!
Post by: cloud91 on February 01, 2019, 11:47:04 PM
:MIL-NBA: Received:
Gary Harris $18.5m (2021)
Fred Van Fleet $1m (2021)
:DEN-NBA: Denver  2019 1st Round Pick

:DEN-NBA: Received:
Jabari Parker $6.8m (2018)
John Henson $10.9m (2019)
Jake Layman $1.5m (2018)

-------
:MIL-NBA: just making changes before the deadline,Denver want to dump harris contract for ages now lol. but getting harris contract alone wont do so with Fred and the 1st rnd pick make it possible and im happy with this.

So after trying to move Harris for quite a while, I realized I was going to need to attach a 1st round pick to dump his contract. If this goes through, I plan on buying out Henson's contract and paying it all this year so I'm done with all of these cap hits this season.

A move for the near future. I wouldn't be able to sign Jokic and my draft picks without this deal

:iatp: Harris is solid just way too expensive, but he does give a boost to Bucks who are quitley a serious cotender and 1st makes sense with nuggets getting out of long term money

Solid cap dump by Denver as Jokic won’t be as expensive as Harris in all likelihood with our timid FA bids in this league lol.
I think anyone takes Jokic over Harris for the same cap hit haha.

I think the Bucks will regret this trade come summer with all of the studs in RFA and then FA ... especially when they go for less than Harris’ contract value lol
(Ie. Paul George is 10.5m and Westbrook is 12m, versus Harris is 18.5m... yikes. Huge win for Denver!)

nah.. i wont regret it, u know me. :rool: i already set my mind that until 2021 my salary cap is just  90m hahah..and about RFA and FA only Giannis matters to me i only need low cost but productive supporting cast for him.  :azn:

Deal will officially pass later today and get updates for tomorrow's games, so feel free to let me know roster decisions and corresponding moves.

I'd like everyone moved to inactive on my end, and I'll promote Terrance Ferguson to active squad. Should I make a separate post regarding the Thon Maker buyout (I feel as though I should)? If not, I'd like to pay off the entire buyout to this season.
