:LAA: makes this trade to push my rebuild ahead faster. Trading Soto wasn’t an easy decision, but as this trade grew it made more and more sense for me to throw everything into my rebuild. I take some risks, but if some of the youth pans out, I’ll be in good shape. It took us awhile, but we worked it out. Thanks guys.

Orioles confirm. Trading the best player in the game is never a easy decision but with Trout's resign rate next year, being able to essentially replace him with Soto is a easy move. I also was able to keep the farm stocked which was a main reason for getting Soto and flipping Trout at the same time. Thanks to both teams for working out all the details

Turning Buxton into Trout was the easy decision, parting with Tatis Jr and McKenzie Gore was the hard part. Luckily I have Fransisco Lindor and Nolan Arrenado sitting on the left side of my infield and Snell in my rotation, so giving up Tatis Jr and Gore for the greatest player ever is a no brainier. Obviously I gave more than those 3, but saving money was much needed to resign everyone. However not only did this deal save me a few dollars, I was also able to turn Jake Odorizzi into Michael Wacha, Robinson Chirinos into Buster Posey, Miguel Margot into Randel Grichuk, Carlos Rodon into Carlos Martinez, and I get to take a chance on Kevin Gausman being a legit Ace in the Atlanta Rotation. This deal was not easy to to put together and even harder to finalize.

 Thanks guys and good luck

My research has resulted in the following.

Tampa Bay receives 9 players and loses 16 players and their team salary will be at about plus $2m to $3m and roster is good.

Baltimore receives 8 players and loses 7 players and their team salary will be at about + $25m. They probably will have to cut one minor player.

Los Angeles Angels receives 12 players and loses 6 players and their team salary should be at abouit plus $8m. The Angels will have to drop 7 minors or 4 minors and promote 3.

Yes, :LAA: will have all roster moves ready as soon as the trade would be approved.
