Van moves up in next year’s draft in exchange for this year’s draft picks.

Secretly hoping Buffalo sucks, but I think it’s safe to say they’ll be a playoff team. Either way, with a couple of 1st rounders and limited minor space, this trade makes sense for the time being.

I have some players on my target list i would like to acquire this year  As said I hope to be back in playoffs next year. If so the 2020 1st traded could be around the 12th-14th pick, the 2nd pick could be similar/close to the one acquired and the 3rd acquired better than my next year suppl pick. The 2020 3rd is the + even though I should pick in the very end part of the 3rd round based on usual standings. So I think that it is better for me to pick more players this year than wait for next year draft. This is a gambling I am taking with my target players. We will see if I made the right choice at the Suppl draft and next year standings.

It will be always time to re-acquired some 1st/2nd rounds next year

I will do my best to lower these picks in 2020.
