1) Granlund would renew as a Center @ $2.7m for 2 or 3 years.

It's not the highest rank you're looking for, but the highest salary.

2) The Sedin buyout would need to be paid all this year.  Which still works out the same because Sedin only has 1 year left (I think you were assuming 2).  So it would be:

X Henrik Sedin, $3.8m (2017-2018) Released contract through 2017/18. 

Same difference there.  Let me know what to do with Granlund.

Granlund is discount eligible so he could sign for 5 years at 70% of the renewal value. This would work out to a 5 year extension at $2m (the minimum).

$2.7m for 2 or 3 years is still an option if you don't want the 5 year deal at $2.0m.
