2014 FGM Entry Draft

1.  Why would you have to inform Bhows that the draft was starting when the start date was clearly marked on the FGM site and we all received emails that the draft was scheduled for 9/22 at noon?

2.  Why would Bhows need authority to enforce rules clearly stated on the FGM site if he was assisting in the coordination of the draft?

I'm not trying to be a hard-ass, but I think you should switch the picks for the Nats and the Braves to reflect the BA rankings if no selections were sent to the EC since both teams clearly timed out.

2. I was not clear enough when telling Bhows about his responsibilities/authority when helping with the draft.

In the end me and Bhows were both late on the autopicks. Washington made there pick before an autopick was posted. Washington's pick of Carlos Rodon will stand

The rules make no mention of whether or not the autopick is posted or what happens if the pick is timed out but made prior to the next team on the clock making their pick. 

If you do not pick within that time frame then the following will happen.

If you had supplied the EC with a pre-rankings list, then the best available signed player from such a list will be taken.  If no such list is available then the pre-draft ranking list of signed players that is used for the draft will determine which player is taken by your team.

I agree with Roy that the rules have been there. But the draft was originally scheduled for early Sept, then was changed. So i understand why there was confussion about the start of the draft.

I'm more concerned about the amount of teams timing out in the draft.  Its the first round!

What is with all the complaining?  The real 2014 season is not even over yet and we are doing the EDR draft to prep for the 2015 season.  What is the rush? 

Also, people are timing out b/c it's an 8-hr clock.
