Do we have waivers at all?

There are no waivers in FNHL...

I'm good with that as it's one less moving part to track and process.

I read somewhere we can go 10% over the cap in the off season.
Any chance it can be higher after contract roll over since the cap is coming down in 2013-14?

Hawks might have to b/o a few more players after a trade here and there.

yep. there's 10% overage allowance in the off-season in FNHL.

however, teams cannot use the 10% overage on buy outs.
so if a buy out puts you over the limit, the buy out request will be declined.
however, if a FA signing, prospect call up, trade puts your team into the 10% overage range, we'll allow it.

When I re-sign these 3 guys, do I use normal extension values just like regular players?

Jonathan Huberdeau, $3.0m (2012-2013-EL) can only be resigned yr-end
Matthew Dumba, $2.5m (2012-2013-EL) can only be resigned yr-end
Griffin Reinhart, $3.0m (2012-2013-EL) can only be resigned yr-end

cloud91 is correct.
use standard extension values for your players coming off Entry Level contract.

i'm gussing the previous owner rolled the dice there'd be no NHL season and signed the 3 rookies to 1yr deals with the goal of re-signing them to extensions at the league minimum.

that or the expectation was they wouldn't produce much as rookies in a limited season.

Maybe the savings on Dumba and Reinhart will make up for it.......

it wasn't as bad as i thought. you've got plenty of cap to play with.
