Welcome everyone to the Franchise NHL 2014-15.

The FNHL Summer break is officially over... not that we ever left the site with a bunch of new owners taking over various teams and plenty of extensions and B/Os to process.

Good to have you leading your respective franchises. I''m liking the bump up in the compete level of the ownership group as a whole.

PRIZE POOL
The FNHL Stanley Cup Champ will look to take home $200USD and possibly more (pending sale of several teams). The Fantrax fee has been deducted from that prize pool. That should buy someone a few drinks.    All owners need to submit their team fee by September 30th.

DEADLINES
Aug 6 at 17h00 ET 2013-14 Contracts expire
Aug 6 at 17h01 ET - Aug 9 at 23h59 ET Transaction Freeze
Free Agency Begins August 10, 2014 0h01 ET
         > August 10 - Defencemen
         > August 17 - Left Wingers
         > August 24 - Right Wingers
         > August 31 - Centers
         > September 7 - Goalies
September 3, 2014 0h01 ET 2014 Entry Draft begins (LINK)

Maybe Im missing it (it wouldn't be the 1st time) but I would like to see future cap, and cap space, as to help with long term planning. Is there a thread for this?

We don't do future cap because of 30 teams and all the secretarial work involved in upkeep. But owner can set up their own spreadsheets.
