Questions for POG or Pigs

Which of the available teams sucks the most? Just want to hear your take on the bottom feeder(s) for sale?

In a cap league :MIN-NHL: the WILD are easily the team in the worst situation man!  :puke:

Why?
None of the extensions were signed in season especially the goalie extensions.

So for Jonas Hiller, $4.5m (2013-2014) his extension could've been 3m before April 14th and now that the new Goalie extensions values have kicked in Hiller will cost the new owner $7 million bucks to resign.  :puke: :puke: :puke:

That on top of 0.9m in cap space  :puke: as we speak with 17 of 25 roster players (70% of the team will walk to FA unless the new owner finds cap space to work with) with expiring contracts  :puke: including Hiller, Ellis, Jagr, Dustin Brown, Stafford, Gonchar, Fowler and Erik Karlsson. Crap!  :puke:

:MIN-NHL: Minnesota Wild are going to be a project for anyone to buy into!

I will say the :VAN: Nucks are in the roughest shape of all available franchises because they dont have many true assets on their roster or MiLR to worl with. yes they have the sedins, edler and MAF but not much else aside from Furcale down on the farm.

there are some avail cap dollars to work with during FA so that helps.

Come on Pigs just buy the Canucks! I dare you!
In fact there should be a bet where if you can turn that frog into a Prince I'll pay your entry fee.

Anyone want in on this bet? We got to work out the details but there's definitely something here.

I require from my teams, proper levels of anger, belligerence and some good ol' fashion piss 'n' vinegar.

I think there's something here that could be considered. Namely that if secondary teams were not selected but assigned from the bottom ranking up. It would guarantee that the Franchises in the best shape were still available and would attract new GM's. Meanwhile, existing hyper-committed GM's would have a project to work on as stewards for betterment of the League.

I think that's a great pt. At the same time in a paid league where a second team costs the same as the first that would be challenging to get people to accept.

It would make the most sense in a free league.

If the idea has as much merit as I think then the issue is with the valuation of the 2nd team. Give it a $5 discount. Anyone buying into a second franchise is already a mad fantasy hockey addict. The motivation for getting another team should be more about about helping the league than winning money. IMO

Yeah. I could be talked into a wager.

Nucks results since the league was founded:
2010-11 - 3rd Overall
2011-12 - 24th
2012-13 - 21st
2013-14 - 28th
AVERAGE FINISH = 19th over 4 seasons

Let's say I buy the team and lead them to a top 19 finish, then you pay me back the buy-in fee.
If not, I will have spent my time and my own cash runnng the :VAN: Canucks.

I have also wanted a second team to help the league but don't feel like paying $20 for it. If there is a team (worst one) I am interested in improving them until we have an owner.
