Let's welcome the newest owner of the :DAL-NHL: Dallas Stars to Franchise NHL, Fperric (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=3906) :toast:
Right off the bat, half the league will like LOVE Fperric... he's a Flyers fan! :PHI-NHL: :PHI-NHL: :PHI-NHL:
The Stars have been a contender since the league started (6th in 2010-11; 3rd in 2011-12; 5th in 2012-13; and 23rd in 2013-14). The Dallas (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=8350.0) franchise is a former Presidents Trophy winner (2012-13) and have made consistent appearances in the Western Conference Finals since the league started in 2010-11. This franchise has only had 1 active owner who also happened to be an ex-commissioner during the 2011-12 season and has been well cared for. Corey Crawford will lead this franchise for years to come and the roster features young and veteran stars such as Taylor Hall, Plekanec, Lupul, Eriksson, Ryan Murphy, Dougie Hamilton, Enstrom, and Pietrangelo. When you purchase this team, the important thing do is not ruin a good thing! One of the biggest challenges for Dallas will be filling out the rest of the active roster with their $7.8 million.

So Frank (think I read that in your posts) that means you're an old guy, maybe not as old as me but old enough to have known and loved the Clarkie, Barber, Davey Schultz yrs! Ok, maybe more like the Hexy yrs if you're 40something. LOL

born in 74 so caught tail end of clarkie the player and barber. my heyday was from the tim kerr era straight through the incredible Lindros era through Richards/carter and im currently licking my wounds from the hartnell trade.
or from a different perspective I could say my heyday went from the dave brown era through berube and tochett to kordic, to rinaldo.

Yeah that was sad. One of a few unfortunately. I can't say I remember seeing john play. Just Dan here in philly.
