OAK TRADE BLOCK - 11/9/2010

Any of the following players can be had, please PM any offers.  I am up for talking trades now.

OF Arcia, Oswaldo, $0.5m (2012) - Very good Twins prospect, power and OBP skills.
OF Gordon, Alex, $0.5m (2012) - Very young and talented, should put it together in 2011.  Great contract.
CI-OF Jones, Garrett, $0.5m (P-2012) - Most unavailable on this list, but willing to listen to offers.  CI/OF versatility is nice.
P Kelly, Joe, $0.5m (2012) - Insane GB ratio for this Cards prospect.
P Slama, Anthony, $0.5m (2011) - Power bullpen arm.
CI Wood, Brandon, $0.5m (2012) - Praying everyday for a change of scenery.  He is figuring out that he should have never hooked up with Scoscia's wife.

Looking for major league players in return MI, CI, SP, or OF.

Kevin Youkillis is available. This is the guy that outscored Miguel Cabrera on a per game basis in 2010. He has a very nice contract as well. Looking for MI, OF & SP. Willing to take a 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 deal.

Also available are:

Eduardo Nunez - He is the SS of the future for the Yankees, might take over for that Jeter dude really soon: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/2010/10/30/2010-10-30_eduardo_nunez_taking_over_for_derek_jeter_at_shortstop_is_part_of_the_yankees_pl.html

Luis Heredia - 16 y/o phenom was Mexico. Already throwing in mid 90s and was just ranked ahead of Tony Sanchez in BP's ranking of baseball prospects.

With my latest trade going thru, I'll update my block:

CI Youkilis, Kevin, $10.5m (2013)
OF Byrd, Marlon, $5m (2012)
OF Cameron, Mike, $4m (2012)
CI Glaus, Troy, $2m (2012)
CI Johnson, Nick, $2m (2012)
OF Scott, Luke, $9m (2010)

Youk was a bit of surprise, as the Rockies came to me about him, and things just progressed from there.  I'd be more inclined to add 2 or 3 pieces by moving him to another team, based on my teams current situation.  Current wants are C, CI, SP, OF while needs are MI.  I am interested in prospects also, but prefer MLB ready players.  Please PM any offers or inquiries, thanks!

Joe Mauer might be available, must offer a C in return plus another good bat and pitcher.

I am not really trying to dump him, just seeing what's out there.

David Murphy- OF (2.5m-2012)
Chone Figgins- MI (4m-2011)
Aaron Cunningham (.5m-P/2013)

  • Rhino7: @Daddy, thanks for what you said lol. It was the ultimate challenge to beat JWalkerjr88 last season, I wanted my path to go through him so it makes my title run that much better! I just wanted to get to the SB and figured at that point anything can happen and lucky for me, my boys had enough left to take out BAB. Live is the most challenging league I’m in and most fun, so thanks for what you all do to make it that way.

  • Jwalkerjr88: You did well Rhino. I appreciate the battle. The loss didnt sting more because i was undefeated, i know fully that being undefeated in the reg season doesnt mean anything in the playoffs. When rhino and i played this past season, the better team won.

  • Jwalkerjr88: If i traded all my picks to a division rival in a rebuild and he beat me in the title game with Desmond ridder or lose undefeated. Its all a loss at the end of the day

  • Daddy: I wasnt a genius signing Kuechel. I was just filling an empty spot. I got rewarded with the best pitcher in baseball for a few seasons.
  • Braves155: I love it when one of your Dynasty teams you've been rebuilding starts showing up and being competitive early in the season. Especially in baseball
    Yesterday at 11:19:42 PM
  • Brent: Agreed.  I'm decent at building, but I need to get better st winning.  I did win an offsite 32-team football league, it only took me 1.5 season to rebuild and win.
  • Daddy: Thats what you should be doing @Brent. LIVE sharpens those skills so you can go elsewhere and dominate unsuspecting leagues.
