Title: Vegas gets the Blues

I like Namestnikov more for his contract than for his potential. Quite surprised to see he's penciled in on the 4th line to be honest, but think he only got like 4 points in 20 games for New York last year. Actually just read he's a healthy scratch today....hope it doesn't get ugly.

oh hahaha i keep looking to see if this was approved and i havent even accepted yet ...sorry Slack yes we accept and appreciate the deal, we continue here rebuilding but staying competative. :toast:

This one could go either way depending on whether or not Namestnikov figures it out in NY. I'm also a little surprised at his healthy scratch and 4th line minutes. They way it is right now, Vegas could find a similar player in FA and still come out ahead because it acquired a late 2nd round pick

Yeah, the deal looks riskier than I thought but it's worth a shot. We'll assign Namestnikov directly to Red Deer via Free Waivers once the deal is processed.
