Title: Vegas/Blackhawks Trade

Vegas trade:

Patrick Marleau, $3.2m (2018-19)
Cory Schneider, $5.4m (2019-20)

Blackhawks trade:

Corey Crawford, $6m (2019-2020)
Colton Sissons, $0.7m (2018-19)
Rourke Chartier, N/C (0 games)
:CHI-NHL: Round 4
:CHI-NHL: Round 5


Even at 39, I see Marleau poised for a big year and will be playing with Matthews or Taveras all year, so moving a couple of young guys and picks to get him. Swapping goalies mostly to save a little cap on my end as they seem to be a wash and neither guy can stay healthy lately

Trying to get younger, gather picks but stay competative this year..I wont win clearly this year but i dont tank either.

Assuming Crawfords career isn't done I'd say the goalies are roughly a push.

I think Crawford will be just fine when he's back and I think selling an aging Marleau for more assets is a smart move by Vegas. We'll see how long he can hold up in that super-powered Toronto offense.
