Great to see everyone's active on this vote. :iatp::toast: When the owners decide to better manage finances and give the cap a chance to actually manage how teams are run instead of throwing profit back into an excuse to raise the ceiling annually, it will create a better league and a more competitive one where every game is interesting right down to the last second of the final game of the regular season. :winner:

PPG, thoughts on that nasty Niskanen cross check to the jaw of Gallagher? Broken jaw = 0 penalty.

Personally, shocked the 2 refs Chris Lee and Kyle Rehman blew the call on that injury causing play while calling a BS 5 minute major & game misconduct on the Habs best player in the series, Kotkaniemi.

Chris Lee and Kyle Rehman blew the Niskanen broken jaw cross-check. Oh, then the duo failed to call Sean Couturier for blindsiding Has player after an empty net goal.

Terrible that Chris Lee and Kyle Rehman are ref'ing in the Stanley Cup playoffs. NHL should review these 2.

2 blown calls that could cost a franchise revenue.

Can we start a "Fire Chris Lee and Kyle Rehman" campaign somewhere? That's gross incompetence.

Why are goalies so cheap to extend and skaters so expensive? It doesn't seem to align with the actual scoring for this league.
I think the recent extension update was about getting caught up with real world contract values for skaters. The goalie extension values were already updated a couple of years ago.

Am I missing something? To extend a wing (LW/RW) where do I get the ranking? On Fantrax there are choices of All Skaters C LW RW D G but no Wing. Skaters includes wings and centers tossing the wing ranking off.
I understand that LW & RW treated the same for extensions but you still need to find the highest rank possible especially if the player is eligible at both wing positions.

When's Seattle going up for sale?

:iatp: Even though I'm not in the extended playoffs, I appreciate what you guys do as commissioners to keep everything organized around here.

Great league. Terrific commissioners. Tremendous group of owners here in FNHL.
Did that sound like The Donald. :win::iatp:

Thanks from Buffalo :BUF-NHL:

:iatp:

I second that. Great commissioners usually translates into a stable league and great owners. I don't know how things were before I arrived but I see lots of active and knowledgeable people in FNHL playing to win the prize pool annually. Everyone has a different angle on how to get that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in FNHL. Lots of fun. Glad I'm here. :toast:

PPG & PR setup the playoff site a while ago. It's going to be great. Our rosters are picked up from 2019-20 and won't be impacted by any of the real-time league activity currently going on. It's a brilliant plan that the commissioners were proactive about putting together IMO. I'm in a few league where commissioners have been asleep at the wheel since March 12th.

It always feels like we're a few steps ahead of other leagues in FNHL. :winner:

Anyone see the Habs crush the Flyers. Hey where's PPG?
Epic a$$ on platter served up by Montreal this afternoon. Pretty shocking game.

Ouch man!
Hope Kuemper get at least 25 starts in 2020-21 for that price tag.

Fair trade. This one's all about playing potential for both teams. I'm not TC but I'm good with this deal. :iatp:

  • BayAreaBallers: on that u havat trade a bit here and there
    May 17, 2024, 02:25:57 PM
  • BayAreaBallers: although my last draft class and fa class kinda lead me to a run so it can happen
    May 17, 2024, 02:27:21 PM
  • Brent: Yeah, it does help to have a big draft class and available cap.
    May 17, 2024, 02:36:56 PM
  • Brent: I'm contemplating doing a complete tear down in NFL Live and rebuild.  Honestly, I probably should have postered for it to be this season.  I still might, but I would legit need to go into the draft with 3-4 top 10 picks/+ many others.
    May 17, 2024, 02:38:21 PM
  • Brent: postured
    May 17, 2024, 02:38:35 PM
  • Jwalkerjr88: Yea nailing drafts and some key FAs helps too. But if you remember BAB you traded alvin kamara for the rams 1-7 draft picks. So the extra picks helped you nail the 2023 draft the way you did
    May 17, 2024, 03:13:02 PM
  • Jwalkerjr88: Its the combination of all three that is required is what im saying
    May 17, 2024, 03:13:31 PM
  • Jwalkerjr88: And brent a tear down with you assets would look interesting. Personally i just think you need break one big asset down into 3 good ones and move carr and go from there. But you have an A1 nfl mind so im sure you will nail whatever it is you decide
    May 17, 2024, 03:14:39 PM
  • Jwalkerjr88: *your
    May 17, 2024, 03:14:50 PM
  • BayAreaBallers: very good pt yes i did gain lot of capital which propelled me to make more moves from that trade
    May 17, 2024, 03:34:25 PM
  • Brent: Thank you.  Yes, I agree.  I do need to break one asset down to 3.  I did that with JJ, went from S tier to 2 A tiers.  Now I need to potentially go from an A tier to 3 Bs or something like that.  I've had some inquiries on Carr, but nothing worth moving him.
    May 17, 2024, 03:48:17 PM
  • Alpha5: Guarantee I know who he traded Kamara to for 1-7 without even looking
    May 17, 2024, 05:22:42 PM
  • BayAreaBallers: alpha it was a good trade at the time
    May 17, 2024, 05:29:49 PM
  • BayAreaBallers: my team was in the Crapter at that pt
    May 17, 2024, 05:29:58 PM
  • Brent: Who did you draft with the 1st acquired in that trade?
    May 17, 2024, 05:36:34 PM
  • Daddy: Whoever it was, he got six more choices on top of that. The "win win" scenario.
    May 17, 2024, 05:53:04 PM
  • Daddy: At that time i had no RB1. So i traded an entire draft class to get one.
    May 17, 2024, 05:54:10 PM
  • Daddy: SF doubled up his pick haul and went to work, using them in trades & draft return.
    May 17, 2024, 05:54:46 PM
  • Daddy: Then beat me in the NFC Title game.
    May 17, 2024, 05:55:32 PM
  • Daddy: RB is a hard position to nail down. If someone wants to trade me 1-7 for Kamara. Step right up.
