Tampa Bay Introduces New Owner, Daddy!

Let's welcome the newest owner of the Tampa Bay Lightning to Franchise NHL, Daddy   He has committed to bringing the Cup to Tampa in 2014-15. 

PPG has described Daddy as another "example of a brilliant owner because Daddy bleeds Orange and Black" as a Flyers fan. 

The Lightning have been a contender since day one in this league  (14th in 2010-11; 4th in 2011-12; 13th in 2012-13; and 25th in 2013-14) . The 2014-15 version of the Tampa Bay Lightning should be equally capable of challenging for the FNHL Stanley Cup next Spring. The team can throw two starters at opponents with Mike Smith and Annti Niemi in the fold and signed to extensions this Summer through 2017. The Farm system is well stocked as the previous owner drafted wisely over the years and the future looks bright for the team. Bolts will have anywhere from $15-$18 million in cap space to play with once Free Agency opens.

Im happy to be here, I couldn't resist a league of such great GM's and friends. I do bleed Flyers Orange and Black, but consider myself a moderate level fan of the NHL after the labor disputes of recent years. Take it easy on me. ;-)

I've been looking to get Daddy into FNHL for some time now.

Really glad he's on board for the season. Can't wait to see what kind of fireworks and commentary he'll bring. If he's got an opinion on something we can all be sure he will share it which is great for the league.
