Vegas field offers for the chance to draft a super talented winger in Alexis Lafreniere.

If you land the top lottery pick, Anaheim will make you an offer. Ducks hold pick #3 and 12 currently but let's see what the lottery brings.

I guess the FNHL lottery will be postponed as well given the NHL pause currently in effect.

Some of the recent #1 overall picks have been rushed to the NHL. Dahlin could've used at least 1-1.5 seasons in the AHL. Jack Hughes is another one. It hasn't helped that they play for bad teams and those teams pushed their top picks into the spotlight treating them as generational players versus very talented young players who need seasoning and mentoring in the lower ranks.

Vegas might not even pick top 10 if our FNHL draft gets rejigged with the whole COVID situation keeping all matters FNHL and NHL up in the air indefinitely.

FNHL Vegas will be picking somewhere in the Top 10. FNHL draft lottery date TBC (mid-late July).

This is the time for those who definitely don’t plan to return to say so that way we know ahead of time we have to find replacements. Nobody is pressuring you, it’s more of a courtesy to the LM who do this for nothing so they can make a game plan for next season.
