Got calls from Mordecai about Lindgren throughout the season and we finally nailed down a deal that works for both of us. This deal was like a jigsaw puzzle. You got to ante up to get a goalie unless you're giving one back. I'm comfortable with our goalie situation in NYR to move Charlie at this point. Habs/Mordecai to confirm! :toast:
  Confirm. We make this trade to add a 24yo NHL ready goalie who will push for starts on a rebuilding Canadiens team. I'm surprised we didn't have lawyers involved in putting this deal together with all the moving parts. The price was what it was. Glad it's done. Thanks for the trade Burke. :toast:

Congrats to the FNHL Predators on their 2018 Championship!

I have to admit I thought the Carolina Canes would've had a relatively easy time dealing with Nashville. But looking back, Nashville was last year's Presidents' Trophy winner and had a well established roster to handle the task in the Finals. It was entertaining to follow the matchup! Well done guys! :toast:

This match-up between my Habs and Boston has been absolutely outstanding. You couldn't ask for a better pairing and outcome. A real nail biter right down to the last player in the final game!

Lots of owners pegged Florida, Pittsburgh and Calgary to make the post-season. All 3 had goaltending issues throughout the season.

Our Round 1 victory versus Izaman's Detroit RedWings was a defining moment for my franchise. Round 2 for my Habs is a classic match-up versus archrival Boston.
