Vegas sends 3rd rd pickZona sends G Andrew Hammond, $1.5m (2014-2017)The Golden Knights add their first player as we take a flyer on a goalie who had shown promise early in his career. We are going to take him to the Big Momma Boom Boom Room and put him in Tiger Woods old suite and see if we can't get him right.Yotes to confirm
Are the Vegas Golden Knights allowed to carry active players? Or is this deal allowed because Hammond is in the AHL?
A stunning question given that a moderator has already voted, but....."#5 Can Vegas trade it's picks immediately for active NHL players should they find a trade partner? Thanks GentsThe new owner of Vegas can PM us prior to agreeing to a trade. Of course, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. My immediate thinking is why not since 2017 Draft picks are unlocked for all 30 current FNHL teams. But again, PM me & PR to confirm. It is a valid question if only to clarify how the commissioners want FNHL's Vegas franchise to act. In the NHL, it is unlikely that an active and healthy player would be dealt to Vegas before the team can take to the ice. So the question was not whether Vegas could move its Draft Pocks but rather whether Vegas could acquire active, able bodies players since it is not allowed in the NHL.I would venture to guess there are more opportunities for FNHL's Vegas to become immediately operational than the NHL version.
