Title: 76ers/Warriors trade
Post by: IndianaBuc on November 09, 2018, 05:51:03 PM
76ers trade
Dario Saric $3m(2019)
Jarret Allen $10m(2021)
Josh Jackson $7.3m(2020)
T.J. McConnell $1.6m(2018)

Warriors trade
Klay Thompson $19m(2018)
Zhaire Smith $2.6m(2021)

76ers agree to this trade, didn't want to give up on Allen but needed to make the salaries work. Thanks for the easy transaction.

Warriors confirm this trade.

The Warriors do this trade to diversify its team and to get 3 young players with potential. McConnell was a throw in to make the salaries much more closer plus he is only on a one year contract so I will regain his bit salary in the off-season. Also he would be a depth piece as well.

I hated to lose Klay but I had to trade him since I was going to lose him next season since as I said in my trade with Draymond, I am planning on franchise tagging KD. I also don’t have any ties with Zhaire and he was added to make the salaries work.

Thanks for the easy trade as well.

Solid trade.

DAL gets a 3-pt shooter and GSW gets some great depth for a guy they would have lost for nothing at all at years end.

Wildcard is Smith, but still a very nice deal for GSW given their situation with losing Klay.

Sucks, but GSW needed to trade away some big dawgs to get other pieces. Well done.

:iatp: Love the quality of players that the 6ers get here, but the Warriors get a lot of young talent in return.

:iatp: Nice deal for both, Philly now has both splash brothers and GS stripping down but getting good value to build around KD
