Braves trade:
SP Blach, Ty, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Giants trade:
SP Romano, Salvatore, $0.5m (P-n/a)
CI Duenez, Samir, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Aquino, Jayson, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Brugman, Jaycob, $0.5m (P-n/a)

In an effort to get some pitching help, the Giants have offered four prospects to the Braves to secure the services of Ty Blach.  Although Blach suffered through a horrendous start this past week, he has shown great promise and is a SP who will help the Giants rotation.  Romano and Aquino will help the Braves rebuilding process, but the Giants would rather have a bonafide SP at this juncture.  Duenez and Brugman are also prospects who are moving up the ranks, but will not help the Giants in the near future.

With all that, the Giants get a pitcher who is on a prospect contract and a member of the San Francisco Giants.
