RE: Trade block thread comments/convo

Figure I'd split this apart so we don't could up the trade block thread like last time.

Ranked 4th over-all in fantasy points for and tapping out?  :puke:

Yeah, that may be, but my record sucks balls, especially the past 3 weeks or so. At this rate I don't know if I'll make playoffs. I'm only 4 games up on the 12th place team, and 3 games up on a trio of teams 9-11th.

Either way - it's my team isn't it? You always seem to have a comment on my team whenever I post on the trade block... Or whenever I don't want to make a trade with you to give up my prospects for the players you're paying for you seem to kick me in the nuts and question what I'm doing with my team (which doesn't matter as you traded them eventually anyways).

I'm not saying I'm quitting on the season - I'm not throwing away the Kucherov's and Pastrnak's off my team. And not giving up on the some under performers such as Droiun.
Just seeing what I can get for some middle/prime aged veterans to revamp my team to get a little more youthful if I can manage, and hopefully come back even stronger next year.
That may prove to be difficult as you've taken the market on a lot of the good young prospects!

Either way, I'm not as invested and into this league and other leagues as you seem to be. I've been busy the last year and a half or so, so I'm not on here all the time to inspect and analyze every single player.
All I can say to that is I'm sorry I'm not as serious about this as you are Slacky. You're super knowledgeable and not many can keep up with you.

Of course you can do whatever you want with your team.  Despite standings and points this year I still see you as the 2nd best team in the league.  So it does seem crazy.  But I know that you know what you're doing so I'm not going to 2nd guess.  But give you crap? Sure!  ;)

I dont know what you guys are looking at, his team is horrible.  definitely , rebuild , i mean it is to the level of needing a "gilly fire sale" but you are doing it wrong, getting younger is overrated.  typically the best strategy is to trade every young piece and future you have for 35+ year olds, dont worry about the cap.  Make sure that gets thrown in with the deals so you are fine for this year and next. Trust me Gilly seemed crazy but he knew what he was doing.

Oof.  That was... just... rude!

Johansen looked like he was going to be a total dud at that point.  Burns was hurt and nowhere near as productive as he is now.  And, for what it's worth, I got to the finals that season.  And got smoked.
